Grammar: Some - Any - A lot of - Much - Many.

Countable nouns are nouns we can count.

An/one apple - two apples

I eat a lot berries.

How many berries do you eat?

  • too many (more than needed)
  • a lot of/lots of
  • some/a few not many/very few
  • not any. 


Uncountable nouns are nouns we cannot count. 

(some) rice.                    (NOT: one rice, two rices)

I drink a lot of milk.

How much milk do you drink?
  • too much (more than needed)
  • a lot of/lots
  • some/a little
  • not much/very little
  • not any
